Green Circle is an option, not a separate line: any PE- or PP-based masterbatch can be made with chemically recycled raw material — a high-efficiency process that returns plastic waste to the production cycle, including food packaging. ISCC PLUS certified.

FAQ

Masterbatch FAQ

A masterbatch is a concentrated mixture of pigments and/or additives in a carrier resin, used to colour or modify plastics during injection, extrusion or blow moulding.
Pigments and additives are dispersed into a carrier resin by twin-screw extrusion and then pelletised. Poliversal has manufactured tailor-made masterbatches for over 50 years.
Colour adds a custom colour; white uses TiO₂ for opacity; black uses carbon black; additive adds function (slip, anti-UV, antistatic…); filler (CaCO₃/talc) reduces cost and increases rigidity.
A filler masterbatch incorporates calcium carbonate (CaCO₃) or talc into a PE or PP base, lowering part cost and improving rigidity and dimensional stability.
Typically 1% to 5% by weight depending on the target opacity, colour or additive effect. Our technical team advises the right let-down ratio for each application.
Yes. Poliversal is a European masterbatch manufacturer, headquartered in Portugal and supplying Spain, Germany, France and the rest of the world.
